Zeemote JS1 Hits UK

May 14th, 2009 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Gaming Gear | 1 Comment »

Zeemote When the Zeemote JS1 controller was first launched in The Netherlands last year, a lot of other global distribution deals followed in the weeks after. It was a surprise to us that only now, the company starts distribution to the UK. A country that normally premiers such innovations in Europe.

Just like in The Netherlands, Zeemote is bundling its device with a SonyEricsson phone. This time it’s the W705 phone. The phone will come preloaded with iPlay’s Fast & Furious. Consumers can download Planet Riders and Deep Submarine Odyssey for free. The device will also be pre-loaded with some Zeemote compatible demo games from companies like Fishlabs and Gameloft. The bundle will be exclusively sold by T-Mobile.

Offtopic: We wonder how long it will take before the first Zeemote enabled games hit the iPhone now developers have access to Bluetooth.
