Zed seems to be on a more aggressive acquisition path then expected. Nearly 2 months after their acquisition of Player X, the company now bought their second Russian company; Temafon.
Zed paid over $5 million to get a 51% (controlling) stake in the company. Temafon owns an exclusive aggregation contract to operator Beeline/Vimpelcom. Beeline also owns a minor stake in the company.
The other company owned by Zed is Infon who is best known through its MonsterMob brand.
Congratulations

This environment is launched with Elastic Beanstalk Node.js Platform

And what will Fox/Jamba and B! do now? Zed seems to move forward full steam not many targets left in the aggregation and publisher business.
My personal feeling is that it may have been a wiser investment to shovel $5m into the Volga…
@sam, why do you think this is a waste of money? I have no real background on the Russian market so any info would be welcome.
Its Russia and mobile content and we all know that this means trouble for outsiders.
