I have to admit that since I installed Windows Mobile 6.5 on my HTC Touch Pro, I am finally satisfied with the platform (and actually feel like a happy WM user for the first time). Now, the company has released their 6.5 SDK.
One of the most promising features available in the SDK is that Microsoft will allow API's to access touch gesture control which might enable new ways of interacting with the gamer outside the game itself.
The new Windows Mobile 6.5 is introduced as a bridge between Windows Mobile 6.1 and Windows Mobile 7 that will be introduced next year. Windows Mobile 6.5 eats more of the resources, but offers a much better user experience. 6.5 also offers access to Microsoft's app store called Windows Marketplace.
