Following the successful release of the Lumia 800, Nokia has started to release the Lumia 710 in the APAC region. The Lumia 710 is the budget Windows Phone 7.5 device from the Finish company and will be hitting EMEA markets early 2012.
The first country to sell the Lumia 710 will be Taiwan followed by India (where Nokia is very strong) and Russia. The big differences between the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710 are the different screens (AMOLED on Lumia 800 and LCD on the Lumia 710), the camera (8MP on the Lumia 800 and 5MP on the 710) and the possibility to buy additional covers (710 only). The changeable covers on the 710 are likely to become a hit amongst teens.
