MobileCowboys, the biggest blog for phone and gadget lovers in The Netherlands has held a small survey amongst it’s readers in order to know the potential of mobile gaming.
In total, 759 readers submitted their opinion to the blog. In total, only 37% of these ‘early adaptors’ don’t play mobile games at all. 36% plays ‘now and then’ while 9% does it on a weekly basis. For the quick calculators amongst you, that means that 18% plays mobile games on a daily basis.
Though the blog regards this as prove that gaming still isn’t the killer app, it does mean that the reader demographic is an important target audience for the mobile games industry.
