22moo has announced that the company is redesigning their GameBone Gamepad add-on for the iPhone, iPod and iPad. The new design will hold the Apple Authentication chip to ensure compatibility.
The new version will feature the 8-way D-pad, 4 action buttons, 2 shoulder buttons, stereo speakers and an omni-directional microphone. Just like the new iControlPad, the design will be modular so it will fit different iDevices. Unlike the iControlPad, there is no sign the company will support other devices as well.
The new GameBone SDK will be ready in Oktober 2010.
