Research firm TNS Nipo has conducted a study about gaming in The Netherlands. The most interesting bit of the study reveals that 22% of the gamers favour a mobile platform like their phone or handheld.
The study took place among just over 8.000 consumers that are internet connected. The study revealed that next to the 22% mobile gamers, two thirds of the gamers even like to see a ban on violence. Casual gamers (both male and female) like to play around 15 minutes a day while hardcore gamers take well over two hours. Amongst the men, the percentage of hardcore gamers was 12% while only 6% of the females are exposed as hardcore gamers.
