123Play Leaves Beta Stage

May 20th, 2008 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Ad Funded Gaming | No Comments »

123_playAfter being open to beta users for about two months, 123Play.com finally opened it’s portfolio of ad-funded free mobile games to the big public today.

123Play’s system works much like Greystripe. Whenever gamers launch a game, they have to sit through some ads and they can react upon them right away. As an extra service, 123play send the games with an OTA link to ease up downloading.

123Play.com seems to have received support from THQ Wireless, RealArcade, Digital Chocolate and many others.

123play.com has had a massive response since its Beta launch in March. “The variety of games on offer means advertisers get access to a broad audience, and consumers get quality games in seconds for perfect mobile entertainment.” says Markus R
